Time Blocking
A scheduling method where you assign every task a specific block of time on your calendar instead of working from an open-ended list.
Explanation
Instead of a to-do list you dip into whenever, time blocking reserves a specific slot on your calendar for each task or category of work, so the calendar, not willpower, decides what you do next. It forces realistic estimates (a task has to fit somewhere) and protects deep work from interruption.
Example
Rather than a list saying "write report, reply to emails, plan next week," a time-blocked day reads: 9:00–10:30 write report, 10:30–11:00 emails, 15:00–15:30 plan next week.
